WORD FOR THE WORLD

Psalms 19: 2 - 5

Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge.

There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard;
4
yet their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,

which comes forth like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and like a strong man runs its course with joy.

A CHILD OF GOD

A child of God has known the sacred scriptures from infancy. He was given the wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that one who belongs to God may be competent, equipped for every good work. I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingly power.

Proclaim the word; be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient; convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching.

Remain faithful to what you have learned and believed, because you know from whom you learned it.
