He created in them knowledge of the spirit; with wisdom he fills their heart; good and evil he shows them. (Sirach 17:6)

TAKING OVER THE LORD’S POSSESSIONS
Be faithful and wise in all of your endeavors, most especially to those whom he entrusted under your care. In doing this, you shall be blessed to prosper.
The world will tempt you to enjoy life by way of lavishly spending on things that gives you pleasure and fame. Such worldly temptations brought about by personal satisfaction and selfishness will be your downfall. The way to avoid these things is to always focus on the Lord’s Will over your life.
As a faithful and wise steward of the Lord, you have received much but more is required and expected of you. The demand shall be great, are you willing to take upon such responsibility?

STUDY DAY AND NIGHT
the counsel of the wicked,
Nor go the way of sinners,
nor sit in company with scoffers.
Rather, the law of the LORD
is their joy; God's law
they study day and night.
They are like a tree
planted near streams of water,
that yields its fruit in season;
Its leaves never wither;
whatever they do PROSPERS.
But not the wicked!
They are like chaff
driven by the wind.
The LORD watches over
the way of the just,
but the way of the wicked
leads to ruin.
Psalms 1,1-2.3.4.6.
OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS
If you would hearken to my commandments,
Your descendants would be like the sand,
Their name never cut off or blotted out

BE STRONG IN FAITH
A man must not waver in his trust
that God will fulfill His promise.
Instead, he should grow strong in his faith,
knowing that all things come from the Lord.
In everything he does,
he must always give glory to God,
fully convinced that God will do
what He had promised.
His faith in doing so,
shall be reckoned to him as righteousness.
Growing strong in faith
is to believe in Jesus our Lord.
He was put to death for our trespasses,
and raised from the dead for our justification.
He is the horn of our salvation
and only through Him can we receive
all of God's promises.
In Him, God has shown us mercy
and made true His holy covenant with His people.
He is the "Sworn Oath" that God has made,
to rescue us from the hand of the enemy.
With Jesus, we became victorious over life
and it is only fitting that we worship God
in holiness and righteousness all our days.
Being victorious over life
is not measured by the material wealth
that one possesses.
Let's face it; if God so decides
to take your life today,
will you be able to bring this wealth with you?
In our world today,
the two main source of material wealth
are those that we inherited
and those that we have worked for.
In the case of inheritance,
there exist a possibility of jealousy
and division among family members.
On the other hand, material wealth
gained from work can produce ill effects
such as greed and selfishness.
In both cases, such possession
makes one vulnerable to a life of dissipation
that is obviously not pleasing to God.
To be materially rich in the world is not a sin
provided that one is cautious about its ill effects.
This is the reason why God teaches us
the right and proper ways to handle the lives
He has given us.
Similarly, money is not a sin
but the love for money could lead us to sin.
These are gifts of graces that God
may lavishly give us but the key
has always been to focus on the Giver
and not the gifts.
In doing so, we are always mindful
that the real owner of these possessions
is not we but God alone
and we were just made stewards
of these gifts for a purpose.
God promised to give us a life of abundance.
Are you now prepared to receive this promise,
by laying up treasures not for yourself but for Him?
