Life is good when you are free from sin. It is as good as being raised from the dead where you can present yourself to God as a weapon for righteousness. All it takes is obedience for you to live under the grace of God. As such, you shall be entrusted with a pattern of teaching that goes directly to your heart. The Lord shall always be with you and no harm will ever come to you. Sin will no longer have power over you because God will constantly bless and keep you. You can live freely like a bird and reach heights and places that you have never gone before. God will always help you and the doors of heaven will be opened to you.
One the other hand, one who has presented himself and allowed sin to reign over his mortal body is held captive to obey its desires. Sin is not something you contract without your consent. It contaminates your whole being because you have presented the parts of your bodies to sin. In the process, rather than being a weapon of righteousness, you can become a weapon of wickedness. Once this happens, at an unexpected day and at an unknown hour, God will punish you severely and assign you to the place of the unfaithful.
So always be prepared for no one knows when the Lord is coming. Be a faithful and prudent steward of God's grace that He may put you in charge of all His property. You have been entrusted much by God and much is also required of you.
