In my life today as a servant leader of God
I usually say that I live under the Lord's instruction.
His instructions serve as my guiding tool each day
to all the things that I should plan or do
be it in the conduct of work, business, church, family
or just about anything that life has to offer.
As I reflect upon the word INSTRUCTION
I came across the words INSTRUMENT and ACTION
To me, INSTRUCTION is being God's INSTRUMENT OF ACTION
Day by day, I desire and long for God's Word
For in them lies God's instructions
as to how I should live in accordance with His purpose.
God's Word is the most important and perfect tool
For one not to fall out of grace but to live abundantly
under God's care and protection.
Prayer is not all about telling God what you desire
but rather a response to what God desire's for you
which is brought about by what you have learned
from receiving nourishment out of His Word.
A person who lives by God's Word learns wisdom
and he is always mindful of the destructive effects of sin.
As long as we live in this world, we are bound to sin
but it is always fitting to know that we can do away with them
by being GOD'S INSTRUMENT OF ACTION.
The key to this is obedience to His Will.
Obedience out of words without action is nothing.
As the Lord said, "Hear My Words and Act on them".
With this I invite you today to pray:
Lord, thank you for your words that nourishes me each day.
Such words serves as my perfect tool to ensure
that I continue to live under your care and protection.
By your grace, you have made me an INSTRUMENT OF YOUR ACTION
Not me but you O Lord who dwells in me is at work.
May each day of my life be filled with your goodness and graces
as I live in accordance with your words and purpose
so that everything I do will give you back all the glory, honor and praises
now and forever. Amen.
